Have installed many, mostly on remodel jobs. Never a complaint from a customer. As a replacement for an existing fan- it takes pantience and some skill. Figure 1 CFM for each 1 sq. ft. of floor space. This unit provides .3 sones (sound level) while the typical tract homes have units with 3-4 sones
