Installing your ceiling fan heater is a snap. Each ceiling fan heater comes with all the hardware you’ll need to quickly and easily install your new space heater / ceiling fan. Choose either a ceiling mount or use the included 4 or 6 inch downrods for high or cathedral ceilings. Twelve (12) inch, 18 inch and 24 inch downrods are also available.

Installed unit in a unheated/uncooled sun room addition to the house, ~400 square feet. Most difficult part of installation was removing the existing fan. Exterior walls of the room are all single pane sliding glass doors. With door open to the rest of the heated house, the heating function of the fan is able to maintain 68 degrees with temperature (lowest to date) 12 degrees outside and ~74 with outside temps in the 30's or higher. Maintains higher temps best at low speed. Make sure you buy a model which includes the remote control/thermostat. This room was previously unusable during winter months; this fan is a real heating solution. Much more attractive than floor space heaters.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We recently moved into our house that was equipped with electric baseboard heat. I was worried about my toddler around these so we decided to rip it out of his room and install the Reiker room conditioner. This is a great product and investment in my son's safety!
