The original Vornado fans were built in Kansas during the 1940's and 50's by the O.A. Sutton Company, which has since been retired. However, in 1989, Michael C. Coup found a new Vornado company with its first whole-room air circulator! The Vornado brand quickly became known as the leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of air comfort products.
