This Vornado heater eliminates annoying hot and cold cycles where the heater shuts off allowing the room to cool. Then it turns back on to heat the room up again. The heater also has advanced safety features including: tip over protection, non-glowing heat element, and cool touch exterior to provide worry-free use.

The original Vornado fans were built in Kansas during the 1940's and 50's by the O.A. Sutton Company, which has since been retired. However, in 1989, Michael C. The only thing positive that can be said about the Vortex heater is that it was quiet when in use. The heater lacked power and did not stand up to any of the listed claims. The heater totally failed after 2 months of use. Another brand tower heater at half the cost did a better job!
