We have only one heat control for our furnace. We bought the Vortex Heater to warm the room we spend most of our time in. We were able to turn down the furnace and save money by not heating the whole house. Our electric bill didn't go up much and our gas bill went down!
Please use in correct size space! We know of someone who bought this to warm a very large space and it was ineffective.
