Vornado:

The original Vornado fans were built in Kansas during the 1940's and 50's by the O.A. Sutton Company, which has since been retired. However, in 1989, Michael C. Coup found a new Vornado company with its first whole-room air circulator! The Vornado brand quickly became known as the leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of air comfort products. We are carrying a range of Vornado's humidifers, personal fans, filters, and heaters.

Since 1989, the Vornado line has expanded to encompass more than 25 models across five distinct comfort categories. This includes air circulators, air purifiers, whole room heaters, whole room humidifiers and oscillating fans - all bearing the Vornado brand, the most trusted brand in air comfort for more than 50 years.

Design and engineering, as well as some manufacturing functions, are performed in-house at Vornado's 120,000 square-foot headquarters in Andover, Kansas. Vornado also is home to the Antique Fan Collectors Museum. This museum features the most comprehensive collection of air moving devices in the world, including rare fans dating back to the mid-1800's.
