Inexpensive and easy way to modernize your old ceiling fan. The shades are very affordable and stylish and they completely changed the look of my old fan. I used them on my black ceiling fan in my bedroom for a modern space age look. The amount of light I get from the fan is considerably less and the light looks a little...red. I personaly prefer very bright rooms, so it is a little odd to me to see the reddish light, but it makes my Earmes style bedroom even more groovy.
